                                    The Post Office "Mail Men"

This week, our theme was the Post Office: Why do we need a Post Office in our community, and who works at the Post Office?

People use the post office to send letters and packages to one another. A Mail Man is our community helper that works at the Post Office.

Morah showed us flash cards of the theme Post Office, and then read us a book.

We learned how to send a letter. We each drew a picture to our parents. We then put it in an envelope to send it by MAIL.

We then went to find a Mail Box in our neighborhood
to send the letters to our parents.

We made a Mail Box and painted it in the color BLUE.

We had a great time playing pretend sending letters to the Post office.

We then enjoyed playing at the Post Office in our dramatic play.

Renna had fun playing with our Community Helpers dolls.
