The Hospital &"Doctor" 

This week our theme was the Hospital: Why do we need it in our community, and who works at the Hospital?

People go to the Hospital when they don't feel good. A Doctor is our community helper that works at the Hospital. The Doctor's special helper is a Nurse. 
     
Doctors also work in Clinics were we go to visit them for a check up to make sure that we are growing up healthy and strong.

 Morah showed us flash cards of the theme Doctor and the different tools that they use, and then read us a book.

 After Morah read us the book, we were exploring the different tools that the Doctor uses, and we then pretended that Morah was the patient and we were the Doctors. 

 We then enjoyed playing at the Doctors Office in our dramatic play.

We had a great 2 month of learning about "OUR COMMUNITY". We mostly enjoyed all our trips where we were able to see our community's helpers and where they work.
