At the Farm
As part of our community we enjoyed learning and playing a game about the farm: who works at the farm, what animals live in the farm, and what grows in the Farm.

”הַמוֹצִיא לֶחֶם מִן הָאָרֶץ”
Who brings out bread from the land
This week, we began to learn the Brachot. We learn that we have to make a Bracha, and say thank you to Hashem on every food or drink that we put in our mouth.
Morah read us a book on how to make the dough for challah.
We then went to the kitchen to see how Morah Bella was making dough for challah for our shabbat party.
On Friday, we each made our own challah.
At our shabbat party, we made the Mitzvah of making two Brachot: Al Netilat Yadaim & Hamotzi.

We learned that before we eat a meal with bread, we need to wash our hands and make a bracha Al Netilat Yadayim (Hebrew meaning:"washing of the hands")
