The letter of the week is ש. The letter ש makes a shaa sound.
The word  שופר (Shofar) begins with the letter ש.
A boy in our classroom has a Hebrew name that begins with the letter ש and it is:

          We glued Shofar shapes from foam to trace the letter ש.
