Literacy Month in February! We have many exciting activities and events planned - all aimed at increasing your child's love of reading!
On Wednesday, February 19, we went on our third trip in our community to the Library.
We enjoyed looking through the books at the Library.
We enjoyed listening to the story that the Librarian read
us about the "Mitten"
Riming story.
The Rainbow story.
We then had fun dancing and singing.
We each chose a book to borrow and take back to our classroom for Morah to read to us.
Morah used her Library Card to borrow the books.
The librarian gave us a special pencil as a gift.
We were looking at books of different places in our community, and then took turns sharing with our friends on what place our book was.
We would like to thank all the parents that came
to read us a story.
Thank you Matthews M.'s mommy!
Thank you to Jonathan's brother Daniel!
Thank you to Hanna's mommy!
Thank you to Edward's mommy!
A very special thanks to Iva's mommy for reading us
a book about Purim!
She then gave us all a mask for Purim. For a special treat we even ate Hamentash.
Thank you Reena's Daddy!
On Wednesday, February 26, our class went to the book fair to
pick out some great books to purchase for our personal home
library.
We really enjoyed our “book shopping”.
