                                                        Feelings

On our unit on feelings, we learned about the different ways we feel about ourselves and others. We learned that our face makes different expressions when we feel a certain way. Morah drew different faces on the board, and we had to guess the feelings.

She then gave us flash cards with different feelings, and we each made a face of the feeling on the picture.

Morah read us books on sharing and caring for one another. Just like we like to be happy, we need to make our friends happy.
The different ways we can do that, is by sharing, taking turns, trading toys, and playing together.

A SONG ON SHARING

The more we share together, together,
 together
The more we share together, the happier we will be.

The more we play together, together, together
The more we play together, the happier we will be.

Because my friends are your friends, and your friends are my friends, the more we get together the happier we will be.

                              A SONG ON FEELINGS
(to the tune of Twinkle twinkle little star)
I have feelings you do to.
Lets all sing about a few.
I am Happy, I am sad,
I am scared, and I am mad.
I am proud of being me.
That's a feeling too you see.

On a paper plate, we made a happy face, and a sad face.
