The life of a "Butterfly"
 We began learning about the life of a "Butterfly".
Morah brought some Caterpillars in a small container to our class. We will observer them every day to see how they grow.

Morah read us some books on Caterpillars.

                                     
The caterpillars began to grow and then made their own cocoons and fell asleep in them. 

We all enjoyed the book "The hungry Caterpillar"

We then made a project about the life cycle of a "Butterfly"

We used different size macaroni as the Caterpillars grow.

 We then moved the cocoons to a butterfly house.

We were super excited when we came in one morning and saw a butterfly flying.

It was then time to let them fly away.

Some of us even took turns holding the butterfly.
