                                                                           Winter

This week we welcomed the Winter Season to our classroom.
We learn that in the winter, we have a lot of snowy days and it is
very cold outside.
We need to wear a warm coat, scarf, mittens, and boots to keep us warm whenever we go outside to play with the snow and build snowmen.

The nursery children were very excited to learn a song for winter about a chubby little snowman.

                             Winter song
A chubby little snowman had a carrot for a nose
Along came a bunny and what do you suppose?
The hungry little bunny was looking for his lunch
Then he eat the snowman’s nose
CRUNCH

We had a lot of fun making a snow man. We first cut white paper into small pieces and glued them on a big snow man that Morah Leah drew.

We then decorated the scarf with ABC stickers.

We glued on a hat, mittens, eyes, mouth, and a carrot for the nose.

We all helped Morah hang the snow man and snow flakes on our season bulletin board.

We put on Winter clothes on Ben to keep him worm in the Winter.

We build snow men from foam play dough.

We hand printed our hand with white paint in a mitten.

We enjoyed listening to books about Winter.
