We began our "All about me" unit learning that each of us is special and unique. How we are alike or different and how to make our own choices. This unit helps us develop a positive self esteem, self confidence, and that each individual is special in their own way.
We made a graph to see what is the color of my eyes
and hair.
We counted how many boys and girls we have in our classroom.
We each made our own portrait. Morah gave us a blank paper with a face. We looked in the mirror to see what parts of the face are missing, and we began gluing parts of the face on the paper. Then, we took turns telling morah what makes us special and what we love.
